if 1/xy (x+y)=3/4, and 1/y=1/2, what is the value of 1/x

Problem Solving

as per sceond equation, y=2

solve equation 1 using "y=2"

(x+y)/xy=3/4
4x+8=6x
x=4
1/x=1/4
