Hi, The question doesn't say distinct elements, so we can consider repetitions: Consider the set, T = {2,4,4,-2,-2,-4} -> sum of elements is not equal to zero. Consider the set, T = {2,4,6,-2,-4,-6} -> sum of elements is equal to zero. Hence E OA please? HI Frankenstein -- If we consider the second...

Hi, it was found that the weight of glass bottles in household garbage declined by a greater percentage than the weight of aluminum cans. So, the comparison is not between weights of glass and aluminium cans. It is between the percentage of weights decreased. So, it directly depends on the percentag...

I've come across two thumb rules (1) if slope is -ve then the line passes thru quadrants 1,2 and 4 and (2) if slope is positive then the line passes thru quadrants 1,3 and 4 Hi, You must have missed other constraints. When the slope is negative, it will definitely pass through Q2 and Q4. But, wheth...

Hi,
Tk = k(k+1)/2
From(1):
For Tn=6, n = 3 (odd)
For Tn=10, n = 4 (even)
Not sufficient
From(2):
T2n = (2n)(2n+1)/2 = n(2n+1).
2n+1 is always odd. So, for n(2n+1) to be even, n has to be even.
Sufficient
Hence, B

Hi Smack, There is a minor mistake of counting repetitions in your solution. 1 is picked -> 1 way(only 100) 2 is picked -> 2ways(99,100) . . . 50 is picked -> 50 ways(51-100) 51 is picked -> 49 ways(we need to count from 52 to 100 only because if we are counting 51 times then we are essentially coun...

Well, B doesn't actually have two independent clauses. It has two main verbs for the same subject and we need a coordinating conjunction instead of comma to connect them.

Hi, If a,b,c are the sides of the triangle then area of triangle is given by (1/2)*b*c*sine A So, Area = (1/2)*(12)*(8)*sine A = 48 sine A As 0<sine A<=1, area will be less than or equal to 48 and equality holds when the angle between these two sides is 90 degrees. Hence, B If you are not comfortabl...
