Thanks aim-wsc and Eric,
Seems that there is a huge gap between when you apply and when you join.

thanks guys for the reply but what if n=8 or 16 etc. so it would be 8/2=4 or 16/2 = 8 they are both even integers and divisible by 4 I think you have the concept of remainder wrong. if n=8 then n divided by 4 gives a remainder of 0, similarly wjen n = 16, n divided by 4 gives remainder 0, however t...

Hi Eric :) Pardon my paranoia(and the male bias in my pronouns) but would I be accurate in saying this statement: That there is no invisible 'Wall' per se which blocks any and all chances of employment there, due to the factor of citizenship. If one equips himself with the right skills, learned dur...

Re: Realistic Chances for foreigners
I'm definitely not an authority on this subject, but I do have a lot of international friends working in the US. All I can say is that it seems pretty hard to get a job in the US as a foreigner. You have to get a company to sponsor you to get an H-1 work visa. I work at a large silicon valley compa...

Hi Eric, As always I see a reply from you! :) I am an engineer albeit a mechanical engineer :D, so that is something out of the way, what I would like to ask is, would it make a difference(read easier) if you graduate from a higher ranked school(top 10) as opposed to say: something like (10-20) ? Or...

Realistic Chances for foreigners
Hi All, I was wondering: How easy is it to get a job once you are done with your MBA from that 'top school' ? I have heard that it is tough for foreigners to get placed there in the US. Could someone who has better information on this, say whether this is true or not ? As we all agree that spending ...

Thank you note
Hi jerrykantrell, I think the top 20 is realistic given the information you provided. However, the process is holistic, so stats are definitely not the whole story. The way to set yourself apart from your demographic - and other applicants - is to very clearly communicate who you are, what motivate...

What should I aim at ?
Hi Stacy\Amy I Hope you don't mind doing yet another evaluation, as I would like to get a feel of what I might hope to achieve before actually taking the plunge.
