It can take a while for the admission office to get back to applicants. From two weeks to maybe a month or so. Sometimes they're out of the office and can't get to internet. Try waiting it out a bit for 2-4 weeks and then perhaps you can try contacting them again.

Hi! It really depends on which school you're applying to and how many applicants they get. Most schools have a certain number of places only, so as the rounds go by the number of available slots get lower and lower.
