But in 1st case we also get k<1 and k>3..thus it can be any number in this range..so isnt it wrong jus chosing k>1 and k<3?

it is X^2-y^3-2z and when you put x=1, y=1 and z=3..it is 1-1-6=-6 even..
i think the answer is A

i mean the answer is B..because you pick any nine consective numbers from 350 to 400 inclusive..they have same remainders thus same sum..hence B

in the first option it is 2z and when you are taking z=3 it has to be 6..hence even..a sufficient
