I think the subject is "mastery". Read it as:
his mastery (of something ...) make him a sought after dinner guest.
Hence I feel "makes" is the right choice.

What I can gather from mayonnai5e's experience is it's best to answer as many questions, especially in the beginning, without random guessing as you possibly can even if it means you will need to randomly guess on some towards the end (to a limit ofcourse). Sure, on some difficult ones, you may need...

Say A is a point of intersection of a perpendicular to X axis from point P. Therefore, triangle PAO is right triangle. Apply Pythagorean theorem: PA^2 + AO^2 = PO^2 That is, 1^2+Root3^2= PO^2 PO^2 = 4 => PO = 2 Alternatively you should have realized the ratio of the sides PA:AO = 1:Root 3 and realiz...

Great analysis Aham! It will help everyone (including me) who is preparing to take the test. I wish you good luck on your next attempt. BTW I have couple of questions: 1. What is GMATPrep#3 and GMATPrep#4? I thought GMAC only provided two sample tests? 2. Where did you find powerprep tests? If you h...

Answer is A. i) n^2-1 is odd This tells you that n is even, because if it were odd, its square would be odd too (odd*odd=odd) and n^2-1 would be even. Sufficient. ii) Root of n is integer This doesn't tell you if n is even. For example, Root of 9 is 3 (an integer), Root of 4 is 2 (an integer) as wel...

Assume Bob made Y items last week. Thus he made: 36 * X + (Y-36) * 1.5X - assuming Y > 36, or 36 * X - if Y <= 36 i) Bob made $480 last week Therefore, 36 * X + (Y-36) * 1.5X = 480 - since we do not know if Y <=36 we need to consider this general case. 2 variables and one equation - not sufficient t...
