Hi Vamsi

Maybe you need to change your attitude towards the RC. You may think that it's boring, but ultimately it's going to give you the GMAT score you want.

Cheers

Thanks for your valuable advise . The problem I faced was my overconfidence level after math section. I neglected to take the 8 min break. My mind was still with maths while my vision towards verbal was blured as a reason . I learnt from my first experience. The concepts I could recongnise those re...

Hi Victory_Gmat Thanks! Yes, I was happy too when I saw the score.. :-) I took the exam again not because I wanted to get a higher score, I just knew that I had screwed up the first time by getting too tensed. Needless to say, there was always a nagging feeling about getting a lower score. I took th...

650 is not bad, considering your level of experience. You should consider the executive mba programs.

You said that you have an IQ of 90? Was this number given to you by a competent professional? If so, then maybe the GMAT is not for you. Watch Forrest Gump, make tons of money and leave us all behind :-)

The GMAT rule is that you cannot take the test for one month after an attempt. :-)

Cheer up and go strong the next time. It may have been a one off day.

Hi Deepak Sorry to hear about your score, but I guess it happens. Your verbal seems weak. You will need to work on that aspect. Mastering Sentence Correction is the way to go. It's very much like maths and there are a fixed set of rules that you need to look out for. Follow the Manhattan Sentence Co...

hehe thanks vineesh and bblast. I was aiming for UCLA Anderson but I think that's now a little out of reach. What universities do you recommend? I have 4 years experience right now. I started off as a techie but slowly have moved to the management side for the past year and a half. Currently I'm wor...

I took the GMAT on 5th August 2011 and got the Integrated Reasoning section too. I answered the whole section in one minute because I was eager to see my scores. AND NO! There's nothing wrong with the verbal section algorithm. I got a 41 in my verbal. And for me, it was pretty much expected consider...

@CSU.SCM Applicant A: 740 GMAT score. Took it once and was comfortable (perhaps hardly studied). Rocked the rest of their application. Ah... Rocked his/her application. I'm only kidding. Your post makes a lot of sense! If you're trying to flaunt your score, you've succeeded- this has become a popula...
