Besides your pejorative tone and total disregard for the actual arguments people have, your reply is ridiculously pointless. If u like it then use it. By your logic, the Madoff fund, Lehman, and AIG should be solid investments. Now I didn't say they are fraud but the things I've seen and directly ex...

There's actually an few interesting articles from the NY Times about the psychology of generation Z. We as a generation were coddled by our parents and raised on lies/half-truth to "protect" us and we are reacting to that. As a generation we are more sensitive to lies/half-truth, almost to...

wow awesome solution. I guess we can go from |x+2| => (X+2)^2 as well? Is there a quicker way to do this problem than doing the cases for the absolute value? What is the product of all the solutions of x^2+4x+7=|X+2|+3? We can write the equation as x² + 4x + 4 = |x + 2| ----> (x + 2)² = |x + 2| No...

Yes I totally made this account for the sole purpose of sullying Veritas' rep. Please. Intellectual dishonesty in the field of education is where I draw the line. The most positive spin I can put on my experience is that you guys are overzealous on your marketing claim. It is what it is. I think you...

Hi Viv, So the slope changes sign in a reflection? The exp. seems to imply that it doesn't. "Reflected" like looking in a mirror. Since the slope is negative, we're looking at a line that is tilted to the left, like \. When it's reflected across the x-axis (------), it would look like: \ -...

Grockit RC
Hi,
Anybody have input on Grockit CATs? Are they too hard? I just took a CAT got 710 but only got 3 RC questions correct. I've practiced alot with LSAT RC. I usually get 3-6 wrong in one sitting of 24-26 questions. Taking the test soon, just getting scared.

Line q is defined by the equation y = mx + b, where m < 0. Does line q pass through (5,4)?
(1) When it is reflected around the x-axis, line q passes through (3,-4)
(2) When it is reflected around the y-axis, line q passes through (-5,3)
What does reflected mean?

AB is not parallel with CD? Why do you need B in this? If you draw a line down from the 120. You have a perpendicular line. The 120 angle is split into 90 and 30. Thus the triangle is 30,60,90. Can you not do that? Area of a trapezoid = (1/2) * b1 * b2 * h, where b1 = base 1, b2 = base 2, and h = he...
