Although OG verbal review provide good practise but to learn the fundamentals GMAT Powerscore Verbal Bible is also out in market. The SC content of this book is similar to the Powerscore SC book and on top of it it also contain strategies for CR and RC. I have just ordered it so don't really know ho...

Any idea about which book is better to improve verbal? Both are from Powerscore and by same writers.

I am getting 9. When substitute in 3 and 2 in equation p(3) = 3^2 + b*3 + c --(1) p(2) = 2^2 + b*3 + c --(2) From 1 and 2 above, using equation p(3) – p(2) = 7 you get b=2 Similarly substituting 4 and 2 in the required equation with b=2 you get 9. Ater increase the new quantity should be equal to something.
(3x+5)/(4x+5)=Y
But since that 'something' i.e Y is not given, you cannot find the x and hence the new ratio.
