'that' vs 'to-inifinitive'
Is there a rule as to which verbs can be followed either by a 'that' clause or 'to-infinitive'.
and which verbs can be followed only by a 'that' clause.
e.g. decide - 'that' or 'to-infinitive'
reveal - 'that'
forbid - 'to-infinitive'
thanks.

Auzbee/Camitava:
Assuming that there was a typo, I still have a doubt. Should we be using present perfect (have remained) or just simple past (remained) for this sentence?
thanks.

Auzbee: I am not sure as to what exactly is the inequality, since formatting is messing up what you've written. Anyways, I would rewrite the inequality by dividing both sides by |b|. Now a/|b| would be greater than 1 or less than -1 depending on a > 0 or a < 0. Similarly b/|b| = 1 or -1 depending up...

Auzbee: 'Also, most of the 20 students who attended the fewest number of concerts reported below-average levels of emotional comfort. ' So even if they reported below-average levels of emotional comfort, they still derived some sort of emotional comfort. Hence everyone who attended the program got s...

Area of Shaded Region = pi* (R^2 - r^2)
Area of Smaller circle = pi*r^2
Hence (R^2 - r^2)/r^2 = 3
R/r = sqrt(2)

i still have a doubt whether the correct answer should have 'disclose' or 'discloses'.
Public company is the subject of the clause followed by the verb 'require that', we should have a singular verb form (discloses). Since SEC regulations is plural, we have plural verb form 'require'.

The ineq. can be written as
p(qr-1) < 0
So either 'p<0> 1' or 'p>0 and qr<1>1.
So I think the answer should be (E).
