Thanks guys, Any thoughts on the fact that I took the GMAT 3 times? Is this something that will need explaining? No. Business school will take the best score. Moreover, the more explaining you will do, the more eyebrows you will raise. Rather than trying to fill the optional essay to the word limit...


Remember, brevity is much appreciated skills in business school applications. Be concise when you answers questions like these. If you are being too wordy without much content, it sends some wrong signals.

If you were getting 700+ scores in your practice test score, there is no reason why you should not retake it as there is plenty of time for fall applications. Why to let a weak score put your application at disadvantage when you know you can do it better?

No. MBA Math is usually the prep work (which is optional) before you start your MBA program. You should be able to find this information on respective school websites. INSEAD gives guaranteed loans (atleast to cover the tuition) to all the admitted students.

If they do not see, it's you job to make them see. Use optional essay to explain your side of the story.


You should contact the school in case you have any substantial updates from your side such as a promotion, an award, etc. Also, if you have not visited the campus earlier, you should definitely consider a campus visit.

You should focus in getting in at one of the top schools. Most top 20 schools offer guaranteed loans to all admitted students.
