Congrats on the great score and thanks for the thorough debrief.
I thought getting a Q50 and V44 was enough to get a 770. Are there ranges within the raw scores?

I definitely think you took the GMAT Prep too many times, and artificially boosted your score. I would take a few weeks off, and refocus. It is pretty hard to go through senior year and study for the GMAT at the same time. Instead take like 2 solid months to really plug through it, make sure you act...

the AWA score is separate from the math/verbal score out of 800. A quant has a higher raw score to achieve a high percentile, because people do better on quant. 62% + 92% can equal a 90% overall score, because most 90% of the people do worse than those combined scores. It has to do with balance in a...

GMAT PPREP practice tests. Help
So just to be clear, the GMATprep software does not give explanations of the solutions of its questions. Correct? Also, I'm a bit confused by the scoring. MGMAT seems pretty accurate in terms of scoring, compared to the GMAT and it seems to make sense. I get like 8+ wrong on the verbal, and I'll get...

I'd like to hear more from people who have recently taken the actual GMAT to compare there scores with practice tests from Kaplan/MGMAT. I've found my scores to be very consistent between the two, even though the experience when taking the tests are very different (at least for quant). Although, I f...

This topic should be re-posted. It is too far outdated. The good conversation early on about how each test score relates to the actual GMAT, is 3+ years old. I think this is a pretty important topic, so it should be updated more.
Thanks
