Ya I definitely wouldn't worry about the veritas practice test. I found them to be not indicative at all of the real thing. I think I only missed 4 questions on the quant and the score was wayy off. My total score was 620 or so on the veritas test.

I would just download chineseburned's awa guide. I think its on gmatclub.com and use that. 30 minutes of review on that will guarantee a 6. Just memorize the transitions, thrown in a few big words, and go off on a tangent. Easier done the said!

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Going into the test I knew that I would seriously cry if I scored below a 670. From a 670-690 I would be indifferent, and 700+ I would be ecstatic. You have no idea how weird it is to actually see this score, yet expect something higher. I came from a 530 which is med...

Hey guys I just got back from the testing center. I am a somewhat of a frequent poster/information seeker. I have studied my life away for the past 3 months non-stop; to the point where I have no idea what to do in life now that I'm not studying for the GMAT.I also had a dream last night about mathe...

For quadratic equations, there are two values. The root and the factor. In this case, the factor is (t-8) and thus the root is 8 because 8-8=0 So your looking for the value that multiplies by +8 to give you -48. This number is -6. Therefore, the factor is (t-6) and the root is +6. The value for K is...

Hmm..How can the answer not be derived from the number 3
3-1=2
Therefore, 2,2,12. The average of this set is 16/3? or 5 1/3

The way I set the problem us is as follows:
N=notepad price
M=markers price
The problem states that 5N+3Y<=10
So its asking, is 4N+4Y<=10?
1.) N<1 INS
2.) N<1.1 INS
It offers no solution about M, and the 2 stems essentially state the same information. Is my logic correct?

Is the only reason we know this to be (E) is because the processing fee is NOT fixed?
So if the processing fee was fixed, it would be (C)?

The only area I am visibly weak in is geometry. I was previously weak in everything, including DS and RC, but by doing countless problems and engaging with the stems/readings, I was able to overcome them. I guess I will have to resort to guessing if I get a geometry. I usually get 49-50 on quant on ...

Sorry the OA is 36 indeed. I was doing a weighted average of 25(10)+50(40)/60 which gave me 38. I see the correct method now. Thanks!

Equilateral just means that two sides are equal(or all three)
In the case with the first stem. A=B. Therefore, two sides are equal and you have an isoscelese

It's always best to use your own numbers in there. I used P2Q3 and P4Q5 just to double check. Simple as that
