From what I have gathered from multiple test takers, the kaplan test is a LOT harder than most of the other prep tests out there. I think you're capable of a 700 for sure, especially because you improved in such a short period of time. Idk how many sentence correction questions you get wrong (or cri...

Consistentcy of scores
I have taken in total 4 practice exams, with two of them being full lenth. On gmatprep my quant was around 39-41, and mgmat quant between 43 and 44. I attribute the higher score on the mgmat tests to the fact that I exclusively studied mgmat materials, while also completing the OG questions. I have ...

Not 100% if you should retake but I have a similar problem. I scored a 17 quant and 41 verbal, netting me a 510. I have since taught myself all of the math fundamentals and have only achieved a 600 overal (43 quant, 30 verbal). I dropped 10 points! Anyway here is my question. Did you have a hard tim...

Hey I am also applying to Fordham. I spoke with them the other day and they said you should try and have everything in by June 1st, and that the 80% range is 540-660 for the gmat, so you're not far off. The mgmat verbal section is way different from gmatprep, I suggest using that to gauge your progr...

41 quant, 14 wrong. 43 quant, 12 wrong. Your score is calculated based on the difficulty level of the question so your numbers may be slightly different from mine.

You should. Heres why. I have been preparing for this exam for the past two and a half months and I have spent most of my time working on quant. I have taken a few gmatprep tests and I have scored a 43, 39, and just now a 41. I scored a 45 on the mgmat quant tests. Everyone talks about how mgmat tes...

gmat burnout
I have been studying for the gmat since november, on and off after receiving a 510 on my practice test (17 quant, 41 verbal, I think). I have been working hard at improving my quant score and after taking three practice tests I scored a 43 and 45 on mgmat quant, and a 43 on gmatprep. Needless to say...

Eh I'm sure people have done it before and have gotten away with it. One thing to keep in mind though, if you go through with this and you get caught forget about ever getting into a business school. More importantly GMAC may take legal action against you. If you can't score a 700 even with months o...

OG critical reasoning difficulty
I have been working through the OG critical reasoning questions and I have been having difficulty with about half of the questions after number 108. Out of curiosity, what is the difficulty level of these problems? I scored a 41 a few months ago on the verbal section and most of my errors were made ...

I scored a 510 on my first gmatprep test back in december, now I am scoring around 600-620 myself (my goal is 650-700). Anyway yes nerves/anxiety definitely have the ability to sabotage your ability. Time every practice problem you do from here on out. Also, expect to get quite a few WRONG, knowing ...

I should add that after analyzing my mgmat cat exams I noticed that sentence correction is my strength, yet the degree of difficulty at which I answer questions correctly is all over the place. Same thing goes for critical reasoning, reading comprehension I consistently get the easier questions righ...

Neglected verbal section, test in 5 weeks
I took a practice gmat using the gmatprep software a few months back and scored a 510. My quant score was around a 17, but my verbal score was a 41. I need at minimum a 580 to get into my target schools. I bought the mgmat 8 pack set of books and also bought about 500/1800 jeff sackmann problem sets...

If I were you man I would try and relax, maybe go out and get wasted or at the very least spend some time doing something you enjoy, something that your rigorous study schedule has pushed you away from over the past few months. I started preparing in November and I scored a 520 (my verbal score was ...

Hey I was in a similar situation a few months ago. I scored 510 practice (41 verbal, low quant but I forget the exact score). I have been using the mgmat quant guides and my quant score has gone up significantly. For quant I would say you need a full review of the fundamentals before diving into the...

gmat geometry
I have been using the mgmat geometry book for review and I am struggling with some of the triangle/coordinate plan questions (600+ level). Are there any other resources I should check out? thanks.
