BODMAS is fine but have you thought about PEMDAS? Not different but I kind of feel more comfortable with PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication-Division, Addition-Subtraction).

Also, Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally (PEMDAS) :)
