Well, I got lucky... But you know... I am not a student either, I finished college almost 4 years ago, but I started to call universities and one gave me the name of my tutor. Another idea that might help you, is that if you have a friend that is really good at math, go to him so he can help you wit...

Hi isisalaska, Well, I kinda have a tutor, but is not a tutor from kaplan or princeton review, he is a math teacher at a local university who also prepares the guys at the math department for the GRE. The methodology that we use is that I make exercises from the OG or Kaplan, and I come to him with ...

Hi Aim... Don´t worry about the blogger stuff, anyway is nice to know that you are visiting. Well, I heard about ayurveda by the weirdest method ever... Deepak Chopra, I am not the biggest fan in the world of this guy, but a friend of mine gave me a book called perfect body, and the whole book was a...

Hi Aim... It´s nice to see you too :) Well, I don´t know if you guys have ever heard about ayurveda... well, if you practice it, or take it into account, the best hours for the Gmat would be between 10 and 2 p.m and 2 and 6 p.m. being this last period of hours the best one for the test. Here is a li...

Yeah I know... It was terrible for me, I was not only second in my class, but also teacher´s assistant for 5 subjects. I think that my bad score came before I received very bad news two days before my test (the bank refused my house loan) and I also studied the test day and it really freaked me out ...

Hi Kim, Welcome to beat the gmat forum. I haven´t looked at this forum for quite a bit. That is why it took me so long to answer to you. First of all, thank you very much for your response, I agree with your ideas, right now I am in a point where I am focused on moving to my new home (I just bought ...

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your advice about the second round and a stronger GMAT. The only thing that I kinda of disagree with you is that last comment about how hard an MBA can be vs studying for the GMAT. At this moment I have a full time job - house care - preparing applications and the test. And by t...

GMAT VS WORK

Dear Kevin, I have a situation that I think might be common to a lot of people. I scheduled my test for July, but since I had tons of work I had to re-schedule it. My new test date is September 22nd. My problem right now is that July and August turned out to be the two most horrible months ever! And...
