Thanks a lot but here i fail to understand that what type of question would you treat it to be becoz i choose ans E and got it wrong,i thought in terms of parallelism and verb form i.e

E is ambiguous on what is being modified by "lacking"

Hope it helps!

Nope.

You need to first vertically scan the answer choices to see the answer splits. The first thing that one notices in this problem is the placement/distortion of the word lack/lacking.

The parallelism issue comes next here, since we don't have a clear list or a set of obvious parallel statements

It's C as other choices, distort the meaning or are awkward
Success = Max(Hardwork) + Min(Luck)

I agree to GMAT Kiss. Answer would be C. Herebelow is my reasoning:

Q.NO 1

A patient accusing a doctor of malpractice Will find It
difficult to prove damage If there IS a lack of some
other doctor to testify about proper medical
procedures.

a.) If there IS a lack of some other doctor to testify : A] Wordy B] Testify about?

b.) unless there Will be another doctor to testify : Testify about is awkward again

c.) Without another doctor's testimony : I would prefer this. As Doctor's testimony goes well with about

d.) should there be no testimony from some other
doctor : Whoa, DO I need to explain this also?

e.) lacking another doctor to testify: lacking is confusing here.
