660 to 640

by sk8ternite » Sun Aug 30, 2009 8:39 am
I just got beaten by the gmat. I got a 660 and then took it one month later and got a 640. I was scoring in the 700s on princeton review practice gmat tests a week before my 2nd exam, and just got destroyed again by the verbal part. I live in NY but am leaving to work abroad in China for 9 months. I am thinking that I will take the gmat 9 months later when I return to NY, but am scared that I will lose all the progress I have currently made. I will be very busy in China trying to get the most out of that experience and dont want to get bogged down by the gmat. Therefore, I think it would be best if I took it 9 months later. Any advice?
