Given \(1/2\) inch \(= 100\) miles. Find distance of \(x\) to \(y\) in miles.

1) Distance of \(x\) to \(y\) is \(3\) inches \(= 6\cdot 1/2 = 6\cdot 100 = 600\) miles( Sufficient, cancel BCE) \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)

2) city \(x \& y\) are \(300\) each from city \(z\). With this information, we cannot calculate distance between \(x \& y\). Different values are possible. Not sufficient (Cancel D) \(\Large{\color{red}\chi}\)
