Basic Profile, retake GMAT?

by shep1313 » Tue Oct 28, 2008 7:10 pm
Dear Consultants,

Thank you for your input in advance! I am 35, ten years out of college with a BS in Hospitality Adm. from Boston University. My GPA in my concentration was a 4.0, but a 3.2 overall. My career has been varied with numourous positions in the hospitality industry showing progressive responsibilty up to the GM level. I completed my GMAT today and scored 39V and a 29Q. On my practice exams I was scoring closer to 35,36Q and 34V. Total score of 570. I am not trying to get into Harvard but University of Washington would be nice. I have a very strong grasp of math but 2 minutes to figure out 7 to the 14th power really isn't my thing! Would you reccomend a retake? Thanks for your input.

If you have not taken the GMAT more than 3x then you should reconsider retaking the exam in order to be competitive.
