What is the 2 digit number whose first digit is a and whose second digit is b? The number is greater than 9

(1) 2a+3b = 11a+2b
(2) The two digit number is a multiple of 19
OA: A
stmt 1

b=9a

If a =1, b=9 hence, 19

If a =2, b=18 this is not possible since a and b are digits of two digit no and hence individually have to be single digit

hence a=1, b=9 is the only possibility

sufficient

stmt 2

multiple of 19

stem: >9

there are many nos like 19, 38, 57, 76.....not unique and hence not sufficien

A
