Let the total number of employees = 100, implying that the total number of associates = 72% of 100 = 72 and that the number of senior associates = 54% of 100 = 54.

The prompt should make clear that every associate is either a junior associate or senior associate, yielding the following equation:
Junior associates = (total associates) - (senior associates) = 72 - 54 = 18.
Resulting percentage:
(junior associates)/(all associates) = 18/72 = 1/4 = 25%.

The correct answer is B.

If there are 100 employees, then 72 are associates and 54 are senior associates. Thus 72 - 54 = 18 are junior associates. Thus, 18/72 = 1/4 = 25% of the associates are junior associates.
