11*3 + 21*4= 117
Also, we don't need to multiply and add, as it can be clearly seen that unit digit will be 7. Only one option is there

So, in 3 weeks, the amount the family paid for lawn-moving = (3 weeks)($11/week) = $33
...the family paid $4 per DAY to feed and walk their dog...
3 weeks = 21 DAYS
So, the amount the family paid for dog care = (21 days)($4/day) = $84
TOTAL amount paid = $33 + $84 = $117
Answer: E

Hi All,
We're told that while a family was away on vacation, they paid a neighborhood boy $11 per WEEK to mow their lawn and $4 per DAY to feed and walk their dog. We're asked how much the family paid the boy for his services if the family was away for exactly 3 WEEKS. This is essentially a 'unit conversion' question - and you will see questions that are this easy on Test Day, so you just have to stay organized and make sure you're doing the proper work to get the correct answer and pick up those easy points.
Lawn Mowing: ($11/week)(3 weeks) = $33
Dog Care: ($4/day)(3 weeks)(7 days/week) = $84
Total = $33 + 84 = $117
