We're told that the number of sailors on a ship is 88% more than the number of officers. We're asked for the ratio of sailors to officers. This question can be solved by TESTing VALUES.
IF....
Number of officers = 100
Number of sailors = 188
Thus, the ratio of sailors to officers would be 188:100 = 94:50 = 47:25
Final Answer: C
