Profile Evaluation

by topspin360 » Sat May 24, 2014 7:47 pm
I Stacy,

Just wanted to get your thoughts on my profile.

Target schools in that order: Harvard, Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Haas, Sloan.

Indian Male, 25
Undergraduate: Comp Science with Honors (UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Davis)
GPA: 3.6
GMAT: 750
Work experience: Second-tier strategy consulting (Deloitte, Accenture, PwC etc.). Rated among top 25%, promotion in 2 years. Work experience includes lots of international travel.
Extracurricular: Program Manager at a non-profit (overlooking a program with over 40 high school kids involved). I'm looking to get involved in more ECs (toastmasters, financial planning consultation for low income families).

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks.

Hi topspin360,

Thanks for your post. Congratulations on your excellent GMAT score. Your numbers indicate that you have the intellect and focus to thrive in a top tier MBA program. Nothing about your story makes me think there is any reason why you cannot be admitted, but nothing stands out telling me why you should be admitted. All of the reasons why a top program would admit you are in the details of your work experience, personal experiences, personality, values and overall story.
