If b ≠ 0 and a > b, is a > c?

(1) a/b> c/b

(2) 5ab > 6bc

To find: a > c

Statement 1:
a/b > c/b

If b = +ve
a > c
If b = -ve
-a/c > -c/b
a < c
INSUFFICIENT

Statement 2:
5ab > 6bc
If b = +Ve
a > 6/5 c --> that means a > c

If b = -ve
5ab < 6bc
a < 6/5 c --> We cannot say whether a > c or not
INSUFFICIENT

Combining...
b is +ve ==> a > c
b is -ve ==> a < c or maybe a > c
we dont know whether "b" is +ve or not
INSUFFICIENT
