First of all, I feel that the GMAT prep practice tests are much harder than the MGMAT CATS in both quant and verbal, ESPECIALLY IN THE VERBAL SECTION. I took an MGMAT class on June 24th, 2013 and it ended in mid August. I took notes, paid attention, read the strategy guides, did many problems from the OG 13 guide and took practice tests throughout the course. Here are my practice test results.......
6/29/2013 MGMAT CAT #1 490(Q33, V25)
7/14/2013 MGMAT CAT #2 530(Q36,V27)
7/21/2013 MGMAT CAT #3 530(Q37,V27)
8/4/2013 GMAT PREP TEST #1 420(33Q, V16)
8/28/2013 MGMAT CAT #4 550(Q37,V29)
9/4/2013 MGMAT CAT #5 540 (Q37,V28)
9/11/2013 MGMAT CAT #6 600(Q41, V32)
9/16/2013 GMAT PREP TEST #2 460(Q35,V20) <----Verbal is so low...I need a study plan for verbal...
ACTUAL TEST: 9/21/2013
I have been struggling on Gmat prep practice tests for quite some time now and I need advice on what is going on here. I've been studying for almost 3 months now, studying 4-5 hours a day and taking a break on sundays. My studies consists of mostly doing 2 sets of 20 question in each set timed from the OG 13 per day and reviewing my mistakes. The books I have are the OG 13, All MGMAT strategy guide books, gmat verbal and quant review 2nd edition, and kaplan practice tests. Also, I need advice on what I should do these next couple days until my test date. Right now I'm panicking like crazy because my test is this friday and my goal is to get at a 600. I'm getting beaten badly by this test and I feel that I should just take it and give up. Thanks.
