Hi All,
I have been studying for the GMAT after getting a disastrous score of 630(Q39,V37) back in december. As expected,i have got rejects from colleges i had applied to.
I purchased gmatclub tests and i feel that even though they are hard, they teach u tricks that are useful.Till date,i was scoring Q41-Q42 in these tests whereas in Manhattan tests i was consistently scoring Q44-45.
I gave a gmatclub test today(after a gap of 10 days) and scored Q49(93 percentile).
My test is on 15th of this month.
Do u guys think i can get Q50/51(Even reaching Q49 would be quite an achievement for me )
I work full time in a very stressful job and hence dont study much on weekdays.
Let me know what u think should be my strategy leading up to the test so that i get a good score.
Also, since i have taken gmatprep repeatedly(around 3-4 times),i am now mainly concentrating on reviewing my mistakes from question and at max will give gmatprep once again next saturday/sunday.
Thanks,
Shreeraj
Is my quant improving?

Hey,
I was in a similar situation you are in a couple of weeks ago. I was consistently scoring 39-42 on my quant with MGMAT and scored a Q45 with the free knewton test. A week before my exam, I had saved a GMAT PREP exam and to my surprise, I hit a Q47. Then 2 days before my GMAT exam, I took a MGMAT for fun and scored a Q42.. On the actual GMAT exam my I scored a Q47. I would look at the GMAT PREP scores as a better predictor because the level of difficulty the MGMAT tests entail in my opinion are tougher than the GMAT PREP and the actual GMAT.
I hope this helps!

thanks guys for the posts; like you, i've asked the same question myself (is my quant improving?)...really hope so, as i've already put in over 200 hours building fundamentals, and carefully (slowly) going through og13.
currently scoring around q40 and need to get up to 80% percentile. any further advice/direction/support would be warmly appreciated.
shreerajp99: only the best of luck to you on the 15th.
