Approaching CR Questions

by DBushkalov » Thu Mar 14, 2013 4:04 am
Hi fellows,

here are my thoughts on how we should approach the CR Questions:

Beacause of the reason that:

we don't know, whether we'll face a Strengthen or Weaken task, whether we'll have to find the Flaw or draw a conclusion or evaluate the argument, because of all this I assumed:

I believe it would be better to:

to start a CR task by reading the question first? This way we know what faces us and we also know what we should look for as we read.

However this approach is mentioned exactly... nowhere. This is why i decided to turn to your for an advice

thanks in advance

Yes, it is a good idea to know what question type we are trying to tackle before we get to work and even before we start analyzing the argument in detail. Therefore, your idea is correct.
