dear all,
could anyone tell me
why public b-schools are poor-ranked?
i also did some googling to find out more about them.
but they are not in limelight too.
why is it so?
private vs public school.

so do you mean that
not all ranking sites are genuine?
that means we cannot rely on them, right?
whether public schools offer as good service ( i mean education /knowledge) as their counterparts ie private schools.
we wont know this as long as then dont do some marketing.
any comments?
anybody.?

I would take college/grad school rankings with a grain of salt. At best, they can serve as guidelines for how schools are tiered against one another.
Do your research when picking schools because you may find that a certain school has a "low" overall rank, but has an excellent program or specialty suited for you. In the end, it's all about finding the best education taylored to your needs. Try not to discriminate just by whether a school is public or private.
Best of luck!

and why i did discriminatein two types of schools because i have a belief that public school's fees are less. 8)
correct me if i am wrong:
[Public schools are governement aided schools. right?
when i started googling for b-school research i hardly got any public school....
so i had to type each/ individuals url for example penn state university..psu.edu....
or any other state university....
i hv simply assumed that state university is aided and hence public. ]
unfortunately theres no catalogue / rating table comparison wrt these public schools .. or if there any i hvnt come across
pls tell me the path
...pity that they have weak alumni network/////

dear dude asc.
i m doing good.
please send us ur complete profile.....
i m quite old a horse in my MBA pursuits ....been researching for more than five years .....
so i certainly can help you....however on serious matters you can take advice from Ms.Stacy.....
but before you send me any information
please understand this:
that
American MBA degree course is set up for mature persons who already know something about business and corporate world,,,,,,,,,
unlike in India where ave MBA student's age is 22-23 in USA it's 28.
so American-MBA-students are five years more experienced.....
you may hv been reading business magazines ( and that is an additional advantage of course...) nevertheless that doesnt mean you know ABC of corporate world....
one more thing about your query regarding Investment banking.
you need to do MBA finance to get such a job.
you also need to hv great analytical skills great quant skills.....IB recruiters also ask you to send your GMAT Q score sometimes..... mind you
and you also gotta make your mind to work for 80 hours a week.....
any way....have you taken a GMAT?
why are you looking for a 2nd tier UNIs
and what is your age?

hi dude asc,
i am reply to the message you sent.
dear dudeasc,
you hv made complete mess! that, you cannot sort out now.
i can tell you only one thing:
bhes badal k aaja.
as far as your admission & collat loans are concerned ...
you hv to make it up to top 20-30 colleges to get the collateral loans...
good b-schools hv these fin-aid facilities ....just check their web-sites for more n exact info.
& if you couldnt make it then i am afraid but you have to depend on Indian banks...
by the way low confidence has nothing to do with wallet size.
if you have a good profile impecable track record showing uprisisng trend in your academic and
professional life then wallet size doesnt matter....
about me heres
