Hi gurpreetsingh.1982,

What are your goals post-graduation and do you have a preference in location? Remember that an MBA degree is only a stepping stone to your future goal. It should not be the end goal in and of itself.

Cheers,

Hi Stacy,

Well, post-graduation, I seek to work in a management consultancy role. Am personally interested in more strategic roles, that include looking at overall marketing/investment strategies of various business units. But it's not just management consultancy, I am also looking at options with my current company and others, to sit with their respective strategic or business development units. Which is why I want to do my MBA, to learn more about/expose me further into the business world, and increase my marketability in this field. Plus, it gives me the chance to sit in a classroom with a group of people from diverse backgrounds, and the experience sharing would thus be invaluable.
Location wise, since I am currently employed in Singapore, would look to doing my part time course here as well, at the time being. But am open to working in different locations too.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks,
Gurpreet

Hi Gurpreet,

Is there a specific question you have that you would like us to answer? For example, recommend MBA programs for you, or advice to improve your application.

Best,

Hi there,

Yes, would like to ask if you have any recommendations on 1. the business schools that I can go to with the profile that I have provided thus far or, 2. any ideas on what else I can do to further work on my profile.
Have also given you an indication on the kind of goals I have post-graduation.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.
