MBA Expenditure in US

by mdr2012 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 10:40 am
HI,

I am planning to take GMAT this year and want to join a decent US university for the program.
But I am not having a clear picture of the total expenditure that will go in 2 years for this purpose.
I am from India.
Please let me know what is the total cost of the complete MBA program in some top 50 US Universities.
What kind scholarships and financial aids are provided to international students there.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. The total cost of an MBA varies from program to program and so it might be best for you to look at the website for each school of interest to see their exact cost. However, I can tell you that a full time MBA program at a top school runs around $120,000 - $180,000 US. This depends on the cost of living in the location (place like New York are more expensive). Tuition alone runs around $50,000 - $55,000. Check out Stanford GSB's page here for their calculation https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/mba/financi ... enses.html

Scholarships and loans vary from school to school so it's best to research the aid available at the schools on your list.

Best,

Stacey
