Q: The base of a rectangular block has area 60 sq.cm. Is the block a cube?
1. The area of the front face of the block is 60 sq.cm
2. The area of the side face of the block is 60 sq.cm

Molly it cant be D: imagine that the block is a rectangle w=3 and l=20 (3*20=60). Then imagine that it is a square so both sides= 2squareroot(15)
1) w= 3 and the hight=20, [and 3*20=60]----->is NOT a SQUARE
But if w=2squareroot(15) and high=2squareroot(15) [and (2squareroot15)^2)=60]------> is a SQUARE
Hence this statement is INSUFF.
And teh same examples work for statement 2.
