The army cutworm moth is a critical source of fat for many

That's what I think as well but can "which" refer to something plural?

E seems the best and Which can refer to plural antecedents

I think in E overturn is not parallel with consuming.

IMO D.

IMO E

A, C and D - THEM is wrong. We need it to denote the cutworm.

B is wrong because the sentence after the semicolon is not an independent clause.
