(Q42, V47)Just took the GMAT after studying for about 2 weeks. To be honest while I do feel relieved I broke 700 I'm rather dissapointed with my performance.
I really messed up the Q section, this may have had something to do with arriving late after the AWA break. Also the proctors were two college girls who were chatting through the whole exam. One of the girls was new so they used my exam registration to train the other girl in test center procecures which took over half an hour!
All in all feeling rather empty after the exam, I would take it again except I'm too cheap to pay $250 for an extra 40-50 points.
In terms of strategy I would recommend mindlessly working through hour after hour of problems--slowly but surely it will sink in and your score will improve.
710 -- At least I don't have to take it again!

I firmly believe that one can succeed at almost anything for which one has unlimited enthusiasm.
hehe .. why thank you, I certainly didn't feel that way after the exam! But I guess I shouldn't feel too dissapointed about a 710 score.
