divisible by 13

Any four digit number pqrs is divisible by 13 if p + 4 q + 3 r - s is divisible by 13. A four digit number 9x7x is divisible by 13. What is x?
(A) 7
(B) 5
(C) 3
(D) 2
(E) 1

9 + 4x + 21 = x is divisible by 13
=> 3x + 30 is divisible by 13

Only value that satisfies the above is 3. Hence C in IMO.
