I am taking the GMAT this coming monday 4/7/08 and I've been doing poorly on my practice tests. I suck at math and have been focusing on the quantitative part, but am neglecting the verbal part which I did very well with diagnostic tests. Now I'm not doing well in either part of the test. Any suggestions? I'm really nervous about Monday.
more specifics please.jingsuet wrote:I am taking the GMAT this coming monday 4/7/08 and I've been doing poorly on my practice tests. what exactly do you mean when you say you aren't currently doing well on practice tests? do you mean that
...your time management is poor, and your scores are suffering because you aren't finishing the sections on time?
...you're having difficulty with the general skills required to attack just about all problems (eliminating DS choices efficiently, picking out SC errors without multiple readings, etc.)?
...you aren't properly matching the content of problems with the optimal strategy for solving those problems?
...you're making silly, preventable mistakes that are dragging down your score?
...something else?
each of these situations calls for a different plan of action; since time is short before your exam, i don't want to waste your time with irrelevant advice. therefore, please give some more specifics about what's going on.
thanks.
