We're really happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for this year's Beat The GMAT Scholarship Competition. This is the eighth annual edition of this contest and we're proud to say that Beat The GMAT has distributed over $200,000 in scholarships and prizes to MBA applicants from all over the globe!

Click here to read all about it!

This year we are giving away EIGHT GMAT and MBA scholarship packages. Each winner will receive a $250 voucher for GMAT registration fees, a full GMAT test prep course, and MBA admissions consulting services. You can learn everything you need about our scholarship on our page here. In total, this year we have over $16,000 in scholarship prizes.

As always, none of this would have been possible without the great support of our partners. The following companies made generous donations: AcceptU, Admit Advantage, Admissionado, Clear Admit, GMAT Prep Now, GMAT Tutor by The Economist, Kaplan, Knewton, Manhattan GMAT, MBA Admit, mbaMission, The Princeton Review, Stratus Prep, and Veritas Prep.

Don't forget to submit your application by May 13, the application deadline. Winners will be announced on May 20.

Applicants can receive exclusive updates and winner announcements for the 2013 scholarship competition by visiting Beat The GMAT on Facebook.

Questions? Post them here or start a new thread in the 2013 Scholarships forum.

Good luck guys, can't wait to read all about you in this year's competition!

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned, but I can't seem to see it anywhere.

This is for people starting in 2013, not 2014?

Hi dogie,

The scholarship prizes are each composed of a GMAT Course, Admissions Consulting Package, and $250 GMAT voucher. Applicants must be planning to apply in either 2014 or 2015.

Regards,

Sorin

Hi! Does that mean that if I have already been accepted (starting my MBA in September 2013) I'm not eligible?

Thanks!

Good catch, Martin. The previous answer should have been "eligible for 2014 or 2015" - my apologies for the confusion. Since the scholarship prizes are a GMAT course + an MBA Admissions Consulting package, those folks who have already been accepted will most likely not need those services.

Regards,

Sorin

Note: I went ahead and edited my previous answer to remove the confusion.

I know I may seem dense but I just want to fully understand. When you say "eligible for 2014 or 2015" does this mean applying for admissions in 2014 or 2015, or beginning the application process? I'm planning to apply Round 1 this year(2013) for admissions in 2014. Am I eligible to participate for the scholarship?

Hi vlinares,

Thanks for reaching out. You would be applying for admissions in 2014, so that makes you eligible for the 2013 BTG Scholarship.

Good luck,

Sorin
