No Work Experience - MBA ?

by ahmed2502 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 11:06 am
My Sister is willing apply for MBA in spring 2013 - USA, but has No Work Experience.
She has Bachelor in Technology degree in Electronics and has a grade of 7.72 in a 10 point scale.

Which all schools she can apply ?
Looking for top 50 schools.
Target GMAT : 720.

Appreciate any help.

With NO work experience, there aren't really many MBAs you can apply to as an MBA is designed ONLY for people with work experience. You do have some prestige programs like HBS 2+2 and Yale silver scholar for folks right out of school, but they are VERY very very competitive.

Thanks a lot Jon.
Seems MS is the only option then. :(

From what I understand and has always been suggested is to practice the Major chosen via work experience and then return for a Master's degree in order to test work experience practiced in real life. However, nothing is absolute and it's all relative and you may be able to find a program that allows you to enter without the work experience normally required. Good luck!

Well, professional Masters are certainly an option (Masters in Communication, Biology, Engineering, Economics etc. etc. etc.) and MiM programs (mostly in Europe) are management Masters that ARE dedicated to folks with no experience, so you may want to look into those.
