Hi,
I'd really appreciate if you could evaluate my profile

GMAT : 690 (Q 51; E 31); AWA : 5.0
Work Ex :4.5 years before I join B school.
Undergrad percent - 77%
Major - B.Tech in Information Technology

I'm working with one of the best IT companies in the world. Had a chance to demonstrate my leadership skills also to some degree.

Extra Curriculars : Volunteered & Participated in a large number of activities in school and college fests.

I have been involved in voluntary work for the past 3 years within my organisation where I work and also outside it.

I'm interested in Human Resourse Management course

The schools I'm targeting are as below:
Kellogg
Booth
Ross
Kelley
Uni. of Wisconsin
Krannert
Urbana Champaign
Broad

Do I stand a realistic chance at these schools?
Would you recommend that I apply to some additional schools? If so, which schools would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Palak,

I think you have a chance at these schools with a strong, overall application. You have a good mix of reach and reasonable programs on your list, and I commend you for that. I don't think you necessarily need to add to your list, but you could swap out a reach for a safety school.

Good luck,
Lisa

Thanks Lisa for the feedback.

So do you feel that I should apply to all these schools except for swapping one reach school?
Can you suggest me a safety school?

I have little idea about DePaul university. Do you think that it will be a good idea to apply to this university?

Thanks in advance.

DePaul is a great part-time program in Chicago. It is highly regarded by employers in the Chicago area, so a solid option for working professionals there. Another options in the Chicago area would be University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Most major US cities have some great programs that are small and cater to the local community. So another alternative would be to identify a program in a geography you desire to work in post-MBA.
