Sydney Scholars India Scholarship: Benefits
There are 28 scholarships awarded annually. These consist of the following-

3 scholarships of AUD 40,000 (INR 20.75L) per annum for any undergraduate degree of up to 4 years.10 scholarships of AUD 20,000 (INR 10.37L) for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.15 scholarships of AUD 10,000 (INR 5,18L) for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Sydney Scholars India Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria
Any citizen currently living in India
Not a permanent resident of Australia.
Have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sydney University but the course has not started yet.
Applicants who are applying for a second degree at the University of Sydney are eligible to apply. However, they must not have previously availed of the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship

Important Note: The candidates are not eligible if they are permanent citizens of Australia or if they candidate earlier have earned a University of Sydney India Scholarship.

Sydney Scholars India Scholarship: Ongoing Eligibility
In order to make sure that a student continues to receive the scholarship funds, the student must maintain a minimum semester average mark (SAM) of 65 and have no outstanding fees.

Recipients undertaking an exchange during the tenure of this Scholarship are required to have achieved a Satisfied Requirements grade (SR) to receive their next payment.

The Scholarship is transferable to another major, degree or faculty but is not transferable to another University.

Sydney Scholars India Scholarship: Other Requirement
Scholarship recipients will be requested to promote the scholarship, the program in which they are enrolled as well as represent the University of Sydney at student events, marketing events and corporate networking events. Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program: Termination Grounds
The scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:

i. withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enroll

ii. becomes a domestic student

iii. commences part-time study without prior approval

iv. does not maintain satisfactory academic performance

v. is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application

vi. does not resume study at the end of approved leave.

Important Note: Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or withdraws from the relevant course, the University reserves the right to request that any scholarship funds paid to the scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
