Hi,

I have an offer from Melbourne Business School. I have to score 600 and I have 3,5 months of Fulltime preparation for the test I.e I can study 8 hrs a day for 3,5 months.

I have the complete Manhattan GMAT strategy guide + the official guide and the quantitative book.

My weakness is quant and Strength verbal.

I sat the real test ones and scored 360 (Q19, V: can't remember). However when I sat the test I skipped answering 15 Q on the quant part, and at least 10 Q on the Verbal. In addition to that, I was also guessing on a lot of questions on all parts.

Is it possible for me to lift my score from 360 to 600 in 3,5 months (sit it in end of June) of Fulltime preparation?

I will use all resources mentioned above and I'm happy to get further tips and tricks for resources as we as a strategy guide.

Cheers,

Hi loewe89,

You have plenty of time to study, so that's an opportunity that you have to take advantage of. I've worked with Test Takers who've picked up over 300 points in 3 months, so the possibility does exist. You'll likely have to do more than just use books though. Your practice scores show that you have a significant pacing problem - bookwork is probably not going to fix that.

I'd suggest that you look into a GMAT Prep Course. There are plenty to choose from, so you should do some research and take advantage of all of the free samples that are offered by the various GMAT Prep Companies. You should choose the option that best fits your personality and budget.
