or nothing that may contain aspartame

or nothing containing aspartame
C
and nothing that may contain aspartame

or anything that may contain aspartame
E
and anything that may contain aspartame

I want you to give me a cat, a puppy, or a goldfish for my birthday is different from I want you to give me a cat, a puppy, and a goldfish for my birthday.

"And" is additive and inclusive, and indicates EVERYTHING from the list, so in the example sentence, "and" would mean that the doctor recommended that the combination of all three be avoided, but that an individual element would be ok.
