I have two purposes for posting this:

1.To get that last bit of confidence and support I need for the last month and a half of studying.

2. To give my own advice to all of you who are in a similar position as me.

Briefly I will explain my preparation thus far:

MGMAT 1 - 640 (Q43/V35)
MGMAT 2 - 620 (Q39/V36)
MGMAT 3 - 700 (Q46/V40)
(Break for Spring Finals...) ('')
MGMAT 4 - 620 (Q39/35)
MGMAT 5 - 680 (Q47/V36)
MGMAT 6 - N/A

1/09 - Took MGMAT 1 stone cold. I had never even looked at the GMAT before. Had no clue what it was all about. All I knew was that there were a math and verbal section. Scored a 640. (Q43/V35) Not bad I thought for stone cold.

This first test gave me a decent boost of confidence that breaking 700 is within my reach.

2/09 - I enrolled in MGMAT 9 week course.

3/09 - Continued the class, took MGMAT 2 620 (Q39/V36) --- Bad Day

4/09 - MGMAT 3 700. (Q46/V40) Was very happy, and took the test under conditions that would mimic that real exam.

After I finished the class I had my final exams Spring Semester. Unfortunately I had to put the GMAT on hold, bad overall timing on my part!!!

6/09 - MGMAT 4 - 620 (Q39/V35)

6/09 - Two weeks later: MGMAT 5 - 680 (Q47/V36). Disappointed with Verbal, but honestly I started to hurry at the end to see my score.

It has been about a 3 weeks since I took my last MGMAT. Word of Advice: Don't do what I did and be a score worshiper, try to make learning progress between each practice test. (If you are far out from the test like I am.)

Quick Recap:

I have made it through all but one of the MGMAT's,

Now I am looking for advice from someone with experience on the other practice tests. What other practice tests do you recommend taking? How did your score on those correlate with your score on the actual exam...

I have read that the MGMAT tests are the most accurate assessment of where you stand, and that the math is a little more difficult on MGMAT.

Any general advice on other practice tests would be appreciated.

Thats all for now. I'll post more as I get closer to the test.

Send me some of your input people, I wanna beat this thing.

Mark

You should definitely run through the 2 GMAT prep CAT tests which can be downloaded from www.mba.com. Same format as the real thing and same standard of questions too.

Should be indicative of what u will get in the real thing!

I ran through each prep test twice as different questions come up.
