Well his job would only pay up to $10k/year... and he didn't think he would get in. He knew all along that he wouldn't be able to afford it. He goes to the New School now... I don't know anything about that...

Brick and Mortar and online options have their advantages and disadvantages. After moving to NY i found that my option of brick and mortar was limited since i had a tough time getting around the city. The online classes saved me, but i basically had to teach everything to myself. No help. What do you guys prefer?

For me, I really don't care how convenient it is to get to school, I want to get into the best one possible. Have you had experience with a top online MBA?

The Kelley Direct (IU Kelley online MBA) program is good. You will have access to the same graduate career services as in-residence. I am in a position to give an opinion, I have done an online MBA (UoP) and am currently in-residence at IU Kelley in the MSIS program. If you do an online program, at least take one offered from a ranked b-school and ask the recruiter about networking and career opportunities compared to in-residence. Read my opinion on the matter at https://bschool.bangosoft.com/2010/11/23 ... aditional/ if you like. Best wishes.

According to the US news rankings for PT business school programs
Baruch ranks higher than Fordham or Pace

Which is to why I'm confused why Pace >Baruch ? It cant just be private vs public
