Transfer molding is a process in which polymer resins are superheated, compressed in a charger, and then they are injected into a closed mold cavity; it is used to produce plastic moldings with variable wall thicknesses, as well as fine surface detail, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys.

A.molding is a process in which polymer resins are superheated, compressed in a charger, and then they are injected into a closed mold cavity; it is used to produce plastic moldings with variable wall thicknesses, as well as fine surface detail, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys - It seems that resins are first superheated and then compressed in a charger whereas the intended meaning is that it is superheated by being compressed in a charger. Also "such as" is incorrectly placed. It seems to be providing examples of fine surface details
B.molding-a process in which superheated polymer resins are compressed in a charger, then injecting into a closed mold cavity-is used to produce plastic moldings, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys with variable wall thicknesses, as well as fine surface detail- Misplaced modifier
C.molding-a process in which superheated polymer resins compressed in a charger are then injected into a closed mold cavity-it is used to produce plastic moldings, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys, with walls of variable thickness and surfaces of fine detail - lack of verb in main clause
D.molding, a process in which superheated polymer resins are compressed in a charger and then injected into a closed mold cavity, is used to produce plastic moldings, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys, with variable wall thicknesses and fine surface detail - No issues
E.molding is a process involving the compression of superheated polymer resins in a charger, and then they are injected into a closed mold cavity; this process, which is used to produce plastic moldings with variable wall thicknesses and fine surface detail, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys - It is a run on

Hi All,
In this SC, most of the incorrect answers use unnecessary pronouns (A, C and E).
Between B and D, answer B uses the incorrect verb form "injecting"
Final AnswerD

Hi BTG champions,
I would request you to put reasoning along with the answer. Merely putting the correct option is not very helpful for discussion.

Mission 2012 hope this helps..vinay1983 wrote:Transfer molding is a process in which polymer resins are superheated, compressed in a charger, and then they are injected into a closed mold cavity; it is used to produce plastic moldings with variable wall thicknesses, as well as fine surface detail, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys.
A.molding is a process in which polymer resins are superheated, compressed in a charger, and then they are polymer are superheated, compressed and injected...no need of they are injected...
B.molding-a process in which superheated polymer resins are compressed in a charger, then injecting Injecting is wrong
C.molding-a process in which superheated polymer resins compressed in a charger are then injected into a closed mold cavity-it is (-) work as comma thus it is wrong to use "it" here after dash.
D.molding, a process in which superheated polymer resins are compressed in a charger and then injected into a closed mold cavity, is used to produce plastic moldings, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys, with variable wall thicknesses and fine surface detail (perfect)
E.molding is a process involving the compression of superheated polymer resins in a charger, and then they are injected (why "they") into a closed mold cavity; this process, which (why "which" when simply removing "which" works better) is used to produce plastic moldings with variable wall thicknesses and fine surface detail, such as the exterior panels of buses and trolleys
