some historians believe

Some historians believe that during no other deployment did Enterprise, one of the US navy's largest battleships, deliver in a single blow such a stunning reversal to an enemy's fortune as during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942.

(A) during its famous voyage of June 4, 1942
(B) had its famous voyage of June 4, 1942
(C) did its famous voyage of June 4, 1942
(D) its famous voyage of June 4, 1942
(E) its famous voyage of June 4, 1942 did

I would go with A

The central issue here seems to be the right use of the idiom "such .... as""

Of course, I assumed that the underline started from during..

I also narrowed down to C and E, finally picked C.
IS during forming some parallel structure here. Can anybody throw some light on it.

I went for D by the sound of it.
But the stunning reversal was not its voyage of June 4 but in the course of its voyage. So necessary to use during.
