experts, please tell me why A is wrong coz i think i have some doubts while selecting the right answer from the statement A and D.
please explain me how to select the answer keeping parallelism or comparison in mind. i think here that entering and leaving are parallel..
please clear my doubt by explaining both the answer choices A and D.

You need to have "attaining" and "entering" parallel, not "leaving"-->ketkoag wrote:experts, please tell me why A is wrong coz i think i have some doubts while selecting the right answer from the statement A and D.

to x is to y
This is why B is correct
The more you look, the more you see.
so its D right? now, what if E would be "attaining nirvana is entering" then there would be a tough fight between D and E right. please explain how, in that case, u will go for the right choice. please elaborate..lilu wrote:You need to have "attaining" and "entering" parallel, not "leaving"-->ketkoag wrote:experts, please tell me why A is wrong coz i think i have some doubts while selecting the right answer from the statement A and D.

The correct form is To X is to Y as mentioned earlier. Here X and Y should be parallel.ketkoag wrote:

E is incorrect because here "Attaining Nirvana" (X) is not parallel to "to be entering" (Y). The ing form would have been correct if it was - "Attaining nirvana is entering a state......"
Hope this helps..
