This is a GMATprep question, so naturally it's been answered countless times. Please just search for key words and you'll find tons of threads.

1/2 - 1/4 + 1/8 - 1/16 + 1/32 - 1/64 + ... = 1/4 + 1/16 + 1/64 + 1/256 + 1/ 1024

1/4 < ... < 1/2
