I have my GMAt scheduled on Oct 15th, and I am consistently seeing issue with the RC. I practiced from OG and I am consistently getting one question wtong in all the passages .... and when I analysed my of RC performance, I found that the questions I got wrong, I was able to narrow down the options to two, but had difficulty afterwards. So then I had to pick one and move on which is leading to wrong answer choice most of the times....

Is there any suggestion all you experts can provide on this ? What is the safe strategy to guess if at all required in RC....
How I can I improve my performance in RC...

Plz help..

I personally find RC section of GMAT the most challenging in the verbal section, that said it meas you need to put in more efforts in practicing the questions repeatedly.reread the O G answer and try to understand the reasoning will definitely help.Better still post the question so we can have a go at it.

Is it that this happens for most of the questions?

In my practice, when it boils down to two close answers (which are not that frequent), I have found that both of them answer the question, but somehow one of the options takes it too far. For example, exaggerating words like "the most significant" wherein in the passage, it is mentioned that it is important, it can or cannot be the most significant. Addition of such things to correct answer options make them wrong. This is one example, I can think of, where you can face conflict.

Another one could be the opposite, it has the information but not the complete information. The incorrect answer has one part but has some part missing which could have made it incorrect. Such an answer option is very rare.

Other than that, if you find a clash between the two, then I suggest you revisit your critical reading technique of the passage.
I cant think of any other case apart from the above two.

However, as Makkwende commented, it would be good if you could post questions wherein you think you face such issue and we could give more comments.

I have given this from my experience and please dont take it as an expert advice or anything of that sort.
Hope this helps.
